I worked directly with the client every step of the way to develop a brand identity system that spoke to their specific personality to successfully launch Broken Spoke, a bicycle repair shop.

The goal was to create a clean, modern and sophisticated brand aesthetic that appealed to most of the community.

The goal was to increase interest in City General's Weight Loss Solutions Campaign. The demographic aim was at females age 25-55. This project included: a one page brand identity quick reference, the development of an app interface and a simple yet effective printed self mailer.

This craft beer concept was designed from the ground up. From the name to the illustration and on down the road to the packaging. This seasonal collectors 4 pack was set fourth with flair. Beer that is guaranteed to make you the coolest one at the party! Three Floyds Brewing is out of Munster, Indiana. Word has it that the folks down there in Munster have spotted drunken zombies out riding unicycles!

I was commissioned to illustrate the Ancient Middle Eastern Molokhia plant for Edible Milwaukee Magazine. It features original digital illustrations along with some hand lettered fonts. My goal was to create a very textural and realistic look and feel with this project. For the cover back drop I chose to use a photograph of a brown paper grocery bag to help illustrate Middle Eastern sand dunes.

The mission behind this project was to redesign the DVD sleeve and 3 DVD covers for the Eclipse DVD movie brand titled Leningrad Cowboys. The Leningrad Cowboys series is based on a Finnish rock band (Leningrad Cowboys) that journey to the USA in pursuit of fame. I wanted to obtain a very illustrative approach with the DVD series. My objective was to retain a quirky sense of humor within the artwork, which relates to the movie series narrative. The cover sleeve and all 3 DVD covers were hand rendered illustrations done in Photoshop and Illustrator. I chose to use bold colors to give a nice “pop” factor.

The BUZZ around BB7 is their very own colony of honey bees on-site! The SWARM of bee geeks gathered up some of the best honey around, straight from the HIVE. The idea was to utilize the harvested honey as a key ingredient to concoct two of their own hot sauce flavors with it: Honey Habañero, and Honey Berry. The SWARM SWAG was born! It would live on to be used as a promotional item for BB7 that would highlight their package design capabilities with the intent of giving it away as swag at their trade show booth.

The client had two goals for this project.
1.) Book cover design
2.) Middle Eastern map illustration
For the first goal, the design layout and book cover illustrations were produced as a collaborative effort while working in tandem with another designer. Our mission was to create a stylized graphic approach that gave credit to the content within the book. We were able to bounce ideas off of one another throughout the process and watch the layout and illustrations grow until completion. For the second goal, the Middle Eastern map illustration was a solo project. My approach was to create something that reflects an ancient scroll that would be utilized as a visual navigation tool while reading the book.

The following collection has a emphasis on textures, depth, dimension and layers rather than any type of flat print. I had implemented a myriad of grinding, sanding, cutting, painting and finishing techniques to offer up a number of different solutions for each type of challenge. The goal in sight was to highlight the perfect balance between the aesthetic composition and functionality of each.
